Integrated offshore technology
Thales instruments equipped early as 2005 and 2006 the Amrumbank West and Arkona Becken measurement masts as first commercial measuring stations for German offshore wind energy with the whole energy supply, measurement and data technology above, on and under water as well as the electronics for the extensive measurements. Our power supply systems, the platform server, safety engineering and data transfer have been running on Fino3 since the middle of 2009.
We have many years of experience offshore and proven technology for the planning, equipping, supply, commissioning and maintenance of measurement technology. Regardless of whether it is for studying weather, sea or seabed data.
We have developed sonar transponders for wind power turbines especially for the German Baltic Sea and North Sea according to the requirements of the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) and Federal Army. These transmitters and receivers of underwater acoustics serve as an acoustic warning against collisions for submarines and at the same time they are designed in a waythat the warning signals do not damage the hearing of protected porpoises.
By combining the whole range of technology within our company we were able to establish unique knowledge and skills which guarantee our customers security.
