Endowed professorship for wind energy systems

08.01.2010 / Oldenburg (dpa/lni) – A wind energy research expert, Professor Martin Kühn, is taking over the newly created endowed professorship «Wind Energy Systems» at the University of Oldenburg. The university announced that Kühn took office on 1st April. The 45-year old has been acting as the endowed chair for wind energy at the University of Stuttgart since 2004. With this appointment the University of Oldenburg continues to extend its particularly attractive research and teaching profile in the field of wind energy according to the Ministry. Kühn was the «Offshore Wind Energy» project manager at a plant manufacturer for five years.
